Nar Phu valley Trek is the newly opened and popular trekking route in Annapurna region of Nepal. Nar Phu Valley lies in the very north of Manang district. Inhabitants here are highly influenced by the Tibetan culture and lifestyle. The trek to Nar and Phu valley takes you to one of the most high peaks and passes, glaciers, remote villages, narrow canyons, lovely forests, amazing rock formations, yaks, gompas and unique Himalayan cultures. To reach Nar Phu valley we trek through Annapurna Circuit, to the bridge leading over the Marsyangdi River. Every year many Buddhist visit the holy Tashi Lha Khang monastery to receive the blessing from Lama Karma Sonam Rinpochhe. In this trekking route we can explore the high alpine valleys above Phu and crossing Kang La pass from Nar to Ngwal on the Pisang route.
Nar and Phu valley Trekking is about 20 -23 days long trek which starts from Bensi Sahar. We drive to Bensi Sahar through Prithivi Highway and from there we take a jeep to Syanga. From Syanga we trek to Jagat where we have a stay overnight. From Jagat the trekking trail passes through the the bank of Marsyangdi river crossing pine forests to enter the Manang district. From there we trek to Koto (2670m) along the mule track crossing the fir forest entering the Nar Phu valley. We trek through dense forest crossing the Nar Phu valley to reach Dharmasala (3300m). We can see mall shelters (caves and a pilgrims “Dharmasala” here. The next day we trek around the white rocks, climbing steeply down we enter the Phu village (4200m). Here we explore around the village to have the interaction with the local people. You could experience the breath taking scenery and the magnificent view of Pisang peak, Annapurna II, Gangapurna, Tilicho peak, alongside. Trekking for many days through the several ascend and descend the trail takes us to Muktinath. It is one of the important Hindu pilgrimages. We stay an overnight here in Muktinath. The next day we trek through Kagbeni to reach Jomsom. Here we can visit red walled kagchode Thubten Sampheling Gompa which was established in 1429. We stay overnight here at Jomsom and the very next day we take a flight to Pokhara. In this way the Nar and Phu trek comes to an end with the lifelong experience of the trekking experience.
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu 1310m welcome by Crown Himalaya Treks member and direct transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley
Day 03: Drive to Khudi 800m. 6hrs drive, overnight at Lodge.
Day 04: Khudi to Bahundanda 1310m.
Day 05: Bahundanda to Chamje 1430m.
Day 06: Chamje to Dharapani 1920m.
Day 07: Dharapani to Koto 2600m.
Day 08: Koto to Metha 3230m
Day 09: Metha to Kayang 3740m.
Day 10: Kayang to Phu Village 4050m.
Day 11: Phu Village to Junam 3550m.
Day 12: Junam to Nar Village 4150m.
Day 13: Explore Nar Village, overnight at tented camp.
Day 14: Nar Village to Ngwal 3675m. after crossing Kang-La pass 5315m. overnight at tented camp.
Day 15: Ngwal to Manang 3550m.
Day 16: Manang to Letdar 4250m.
Day 17: Letdar to Thorong high camp 4800m.
Day 18: Thorong high camp to Muktinath 3800m. after crossing Thorong-La 5416-m. Pass, and overnight at Tea-house.
Day 19: Muktinath to Kagbeni 2895m.
Day 20: Kagbeni to Jomsom 2713m. overnight at hotel.
Day 21: Fly back to Pokhara 820m.And Flight o Kathmandu, Evening take farewell dinner with typical Nepali culture overnight at hotel.
Day 22: Departure from Kathmandu to your onward destination
