Royal Trek is one of the most easy, short and pleasurable trek in Annapurna Region. In early eighties Prince Charles of Britain walked through this trekking trail with the entourage of 90 guests with the followers and staffs that is the reason this Trek is called as "Royal Trek". It is one of the excellent and ideal trips for those who are bound by the time but still seeks to make their trip to some the vicinity of some spectacular Himalaya Royal trek is an amusing trekking trip as it does not demand any particular long walking days and offers many Nepalese villages and mountains; along with some picturesque scenery to observe.
Royal Trek usually starts from Pokhara itself. The trekking trail takes you all the way through the soaring ranges with terraced hills painted with colorful flora and fauna, magnificent views of the mountains including Machapuchare and Annapurna at the backdrop of the hill. Thus, one can feel higher than royalty discovering oneself the natural height of being alive. This trekking trail takes you to some beautiful Gurung villages where you get an opportunity to explore their typical culture and traditions. The maximum elevation this trek takes you is Chisapani (1260 m). We finally end our trek at approximately 30 km west of Pokhara city in the scenic periphery of Begnas Lake.
This tour can also be taken as a cultural tour and we can extend our trip merging some other tours to Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan to add some excitements and fun to our trip.
Day 01: Welcome to Kathmandu(1310m). Upon your arrival we assist you from international airport to our hotel. Rest ovenright.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley. Rest overnight.
Day 03: Today we fly a scenic flight from kathmandu to Pokhara. Enjoy evening at lake side and rest overnight.
Day 04: Today we fly from Pokhara to Kalikasthan (1370m) and then drive till Bijayapur Khola to start the trek from there. We walk about an hour through the flat rice fields and across the river. If you are taking this trek in the summer the river may be hard to cross if it is flooded. After crossing the river the trail starts to ascend to Kalikasthan. Lunch will be served at the middle of the climb. After arriving at Kalikasthan camp will be set up at the top of the grassy verge. Rest overnigh
Day 05: Today we trek from kalikasthan to Syaglung (1730m), After breakfast, we start walking through the villages of Thulokot to Mati Thana where you can enjoy a teashop lunch. you would on the forested ridge of the mountain with good views of Annapurna and Lamjung Himal. After ascending to Lipini you will arrive at Syanglung where you will set up camp. Rest overnight.
Day 06: Today we trek from Syaglung to Chisapani (2194m). We walk through Gurung Village with a small but lovely marketplace you will continue through rhododendron and Sal forests. Halfway through the walk there is a 400 meter descent and 600 meter ascent on an easy path before arriving at Chisopani this is the best point to see the Himalayan Panorama. You will see Dhaulagiri (8167m) to the west of Annapurna. you set up camp a short distance from this village, near a ridge-top temple. Rest overnight.
Day 07: Today we trek from Chisapani to Pokhara. We walk half way downhill to Rupa Tal and climb about 200 meters before arriving at Suyndare Danda and walk 15 minutes down to Begnas Tal for one hours boating to catch the transfer to Pokhara. Stay overnight in Pokhara.
Day 08: Today early in the morning we fly a scenic flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Enjoy evening at Kathmandu valley and rest overnight.
Day 09: Free day in Kathmandu. Explore around Kathmandu valley. Rest overnight.
