The Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu trek by its name is the combination of three major trekking destinations that are Langtang valley,Gosainkunda Lake and Helambu trek in Langtang region. Langtang region is situated towards the north of Kathmandu and mostly inhibited by Tamangs people. Langtang region is designated as Langtang national park with its total coverage area of 1,710 sq kilometer. Being within a national park area this region has preserved a wide variety of flora and fauna including different Variety of birds, animal, reptiles and colorful butterfly. The unique and fluctuating climate, landscape and forever snow covered mountain like Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, Naya Khayang, Ganesh Himal etc are the main attraction of the region.
Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu trek starts from the Syabru Bensi which takes eight hours of drive from Kathmandu heading north ward through the picturesque foothills and ridge line panorama. From Syabru Bensi the trekking trail takes us all the way through the rugged terrains crossing the pristine forests of Bamboo, Oaks, pines and Maples and Langtang Khola narrow valley towards beautiful Langtang valley. Langtang valley is the biggest Tamangs settlement rich in Tibetan culture, here you get an opportunity to explore and experience their typical culture, tradition, ancient trading style and hardship of their lifestyle. From Langtang valley the trekking trail heads toward the famous Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage and holy Lake of Gosainkunda (4,300m.). Gosainkunda Lake is the Combination of more than ten lakes including Saraswatikunda, Bhairabkunda, and Gosainkunda itself. If you visit the lake in August you can witness a full moon festival where thousands of pilgrims come to visit the lake. Form Gosainkunda the trail ascend up to climb over the Laurebena Pass (4610m). the place offer you the most magnificent view of the high glaciated mountains of this region Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Gangchempo, Dorje Lakpa, Langshisa Ri, Yala peak, Naya Kang, Morimoto peak and some huge glaciers of the region. Crossing over this the trail will take you up to the beautiful Sherpa land of Helambu. In Helambu you can explore the famous Tibetan gompa and experience the Tibetan culture. From this region we trek back via melamchi.

Day 02: Sightseeing / Cultural Day in Kathmandu City Full day sightseeing around Kathmandu where your guide will escort you on a tour of Buddhist and Hindu temples and shrines reflecting ancient local traditions. There is time to explore the city many places of interest on your own or take a rest while trekking permits are finalized
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi 1,450m
Day 04: Trek from Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel 2,480m
Day 05: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang 3,541m
Day 06: Trek from Langtang valley to Kyanjing Gompa 3900m
Day 07: Trek make a day trip to Tserkuri 5,184m
Day 08: From Tserkuri we trek to Lama Hotel 2,480m
Day 09: Trek from Lama Hotel to Big Syabru 2,200m
Day 10: Trek from Big Syabru to Sing Gompa 3,584m
Day 11: Trek from Sing Gompa to Gosain Kunda 4,381m
Day 12: Trek explore around higher Glacier Lake 4,381m
Day 13: After exploring higher Glacier Lake we trek to Ghopte 3,440m via 4600m pass
Day 14: Trek from Ghopte to Tarkeghyang 2,550m
Day 15: Trek from Tarkeghyang to Kutumsang 2,000m
Day 16: Trek from Kutumsang to Chisopani 1,700m
Day 17: Trek from Chisapani to Sundarijal 1,500m and drive to Hotel in Kathmandu
Day 18: Free at Kathmandu, evening together farewell dinner with Typical Nepali Culture
Day 19: Departure from Kathmandu to your onward destination
